Reusable Colorful Silicone Cupcake / Muffin Liners Review

Muffins and cupcakes are an occasional homemade treat in our home, often made to be quite healthy.  But keeping the muffin healthy also means avoiding extra oil in the baking pan, so I was excited to be able to try these Reusable Colorful Silicone Cupcake / Muffin Liners.

cupcake liners (CT)My first impression is wow!  I love the colors, quite vibrant and festive!  But colors don’t make the muffins healthy.  The liners are a standard size, 2.75 x 1.5″ high, making the transition to them easy.  The silicone is quite sturdy, not like paper liners.

They are heat resistant up to 450 degrees, so work fine for muffins, cupcakes, mini quiche, fudge and more.  But they are also freezer safe so frozen yogurt and homemade ice cream are now single serving size.  Baked or frozen, the foods slide right out, leaving no particles behind.  Clean up is quite simple; just wash in sudsy water and rinse well.  They are said to be dishwasher safe, but they clean so quick and easy by hand, I wouldn’t bother.

I like that they are BPA free, manufactured in a FDA facility,  and very eco-friendly.  These have earned a permanent place in my kitchen and I highly recommend them!
