My great grandma had a very beautiful collection of salt and pepper shakers proudly displayed in a large curio cabinet. I immediately thought of her when I saw this Stainless Steel 2 in 1 Salt & Pepper Grinder set by the Manual Coffee Grinder Company; she would have loved this one as it is quite different than the others.

This is a very interesting design, much more modern than those she had, but quite functional. The two chambers can hold the traditional salt and pepper, or you can get creative with other spices that need to be ground. The ceramic burrs grind fine to coarse and whichever you choose, the result is a nice, even grind. It’s easy to adjust the grind by just twisting the assembly which then moves the burrs closer or farther apart. It locks in place and you are ready to go.

The end caps seal very tightly, a great help to keep out any humidity. It also comes apart easily for cleaning. I like the use of stainless and ceramic; with a little care, they should last forever and won’t rust.
