Paw2Paw Professional Dog Nail Clippers for Large Dogs Review

I used to  groom dogs professionally, and although I am not grooming for others now, I still have my own fur pals to keep well groomed.  Nail clippers can be helpful or not, depending on the quality and I am always on the lookout for quality clippers, so I was happy to try the Paw2Paw Professional Dog Nail Clippers for our larger dogs.

I was impressed when I received these clippers.  They are very comfortable to handle, which is very important when you are grooming several dogs a day.  The blades are a quality stainless steel so should not rust or corrode.  They are also extremely sharp and have remained sharp after many uses.  Our large dogs’ nails are diverse, some are older, some grow quickly; these clippers are able to slice through each one without a problem.  I’m quite impressed with the cuts; they don’t leave jagged or rough edges.  They are sharp enough to not need filing, though it’s always a good idea to keep your file handy for those few that might.  It’s also important to keep styptic powder or cornstarch handy when trimming as occasionally a dog will move at the wrong moment and you might cut into the quick (the vein that runs into the nail)

Nail clippers are a must have in your pet care grooming box and these are a quality clipper that I can easily recommend.  In fact, I normally recommend having two sets of each size you will need, so that if one set becomes dull or is accidentally broken or lost, you have a backup set ready to go.  Keeping your dog’s nails trimmed is essential to his good health!
