SoSimple AlphaShades Car Windshield Sunshade might be a good solution for summer car drives. We live in Florida, the sunshine state, but even in other states, the sun can really heat up the car while you have it parked. It’s rare to find a shady parking spot, so covering the windshield is an excellent way to provide shade for the car’s interior.
This sunshade provides good coverage of the entire windshield and is quite well insulated. When it’s put in the windshield above the dashboard, it keeps out the sun, thereby keeping the car cooler, much cooler. We notice the difference on any sunny day, but especially when the temperatures are above 80 and the sun is bright, which accounts for much of our year in Florida.
The steering wheel can get too hot too touch, but using this sunshade, it’s pretty manageable. I even find that the dashboard is not nearly as hot when the sunshade has been in place.
Sunshades can be clumsy to put up and difficult to store between uses but this one is much easier than others we have used. It actually gets used because it is so easy! I recommend trying this sunshade.
