We use kitchen timers nearly every day for food prep and occasionally for other uses like a stop watch. I need one that is accurate, has a loud alarm, and is easy to read from a distance. The Epica Large Digit Timer is just that.
The Epica has a simplistic set up with minutes and seconds. I like the display; I can read it from quite a distance. The alarm is easy to hear from other rooms in the house, so I don’t feel like I have to stand over the alarm. It’s also very easy to set up.
We often will have more than one batch of something begin timed, such as boiled eggs, cookies, or even a casserole. This timer automatically returns to the last setting, making it easy for those multiple batch times. Just press Start/Stop again when the next batch is ready to go
To make it easy to use around the kitchen, it has a built-in table stand, magnet, spring clip, and hanging hook. It can be read from most angles, too.
