Sharp Gear KOVOT Condiment Tray Chamber is a very nice addition to our family salad bar.
Most days, our family dinner starts with a big salad bar. We bring out a lettuce mix, then separate containers holding a variety of salad additions including grape tomatoes, nuts, seeds, olives, onions, pineapple chunks and about a dozen other items. Our table is quite filled by the containers and it is a process to take everything out and then put it back again after dinner, but we believe our nightly salads are both healthy and enjoyable!
We had a restaurant style salad bar for a while, but it is both expensive to run and takes a lot of room. This condiment tray is a perfect addition to our salad bar! We put the ice in the bottom and 4 of our favorite chilled salad additives to the four compartments. The ingredients all stay very cold and fresh. When we are finished, we put the compartments in the refrigerator, ready for the next night’s salad bar. It’s the perfect addition, except for one problem; we have about 12 items that are best kept chilled, meaning we could actually use 3 of these units.
Honestly, I could not be happier with this product. It does exactly what it says it will do and does it well at an economical price. We’ll be adding more to our home!
