We use liquid soap in our home but try to keep the amounts used reasonable. The Automatic Touchless Soap Dispenser by SimpleOne is a good solution!
This touchless soap dispenser is nice; you just put your hand under the sensor and it despenses a small amount of soap onto your hand, just like the ones at the public restrooms. The power for the motion sensor comes from 4 AA batteries and using rechargables makes it even more economical.
The sensor works well; each time my hand went under, it delivered a small but adequate amount of liquid soap. If you want a little extra, just remove your hand and place it under again for a double dose.
Refilling the dispenser is very easy. It has a wide opening to put the soap into and I didn’t spill any. Then it’s ready to go again!
This dispenser has been a good way to regulate the amount of soap used, my main concern. But it has also shown another benefit; keeping the dispenser and area clean. Since you don’t touch the dispenser to get the soap like with the pump type, you only touch the sink faucet. Neat, clean, and economical–I now need one of these in each bathroom, the kitchen and the laundry!
