It seems like everything we own needs recharging, though we have tried to keep everything as simplified as possible. And if we forget to recharge , or if we are on an extended trip, we need a portable charger. The +LIFEGUARD MINI 1 PORTABLE CHARGER was therefore quite interesting and I decided to try it out.
Upon first examination, this little charger looks like it might be too small for the jobs we have lined up for it. It fits neatly in a pocket and can actually get lost in my purse. But the manufacturer claims it has a very powerful and reliable battery, so the testing begins.
With the battery on the mini charger fully charged, we first test on our digital camera that has a dead battery. In a little over an hour, the camera battery is fully charged and the mini charger appears to still have some juice remaining.
This is one little inconvenience; there is no indicator to I can’t tell how much charge is left on the mini charger. While I wish it did have some indicator, I understand that might be asking a bit much for the reasonable price.
The mini charger actually had enough power remaining to charge another dead battery in the camera (we switched out so we could try the charger) so not too bad a performance for the Lifeguard.
After several uses, it is still going strong. I recommend this charger for others needing a portable charger. It seems to be a very functional and dependable charger.
