100% Pure Moroccan Argan Oil for Hair, Face, Skin Review

Many have never heard of Argan Oil, but it is a natural oil derived from the seeds of the Argan tree, grown natively in Morocco.  Like so many of our “new” natural health products, Argan oil has been used by Moroccans for generations for its health benefits.  I was ready to try Earth’s Path 100% Pure Moroccan Argan Oil to see if it really does benefit hair, face, and skin.

This Argan oil feels very nice being massaged into dry skin.  It soaks in readily without feeling greasy or oily.  The scent is a light, almost woodsy smell.  It seems to moisturize nicely and makes my dry skin seem nicely hydrated, even after the oil itself disappears.

I decided to try it on my nails next.  We have a produce farm and so between that and housework, my nails are not always pretty.  The Argan Oil rubbed into the nail and surrounding cuticle and felt rather nice.  Using it for a few days, I noticed a difference in the nail area; it does seem to hydrate without any greasy feeling.

The hair test is still underway, but so far, I’m seeing good results.  I do color my naturally graying hair, and that, combined with our Florida sunshine, can create some pretty interesting effects on my hair.  I’ve used coconut oil in the past, but find the Argan oil to be a little less oily going on and it seems to be easier to get just the right amount on my hair.  I can’t attest to whether it prevents split ends yet, but so far it does make my hair shiny without being oily and my scalp feels less itchy, too.

Overall, this is a good product by a reliable company.  I recommend trying it!
