Oz Naturals Sunscreen Review

We live in Florida, the sunshine state, but with all that sunshine comes the occasional need for sunscreen.  Our family does not use the traditional chemical laden ones that can cause all kinds of health problems, instead opting for natural methods, including avoiding the heat of the day.  I’ve looked for a good natural sunscreen for those times when we need one, and was very impressed with the Oz Naturals Sunscreen.

oz naturals sunscreenOz Naturals sunscreen uses a combination of zinc oxide and titanium dioxide.  These minerals have been shown to provide a very wide spectrum of protection and shiled skin against both UVA and UVB rays.  In addition, they have added Aloe Vera to enhance sun protection and soothe skin, and Vitamin E, Green Tea extract, and Sweet Almond Oil, all of which are powerful antioxidants that help protect and nourish.  It’s said to be safe for all skin types.

It goes on very smoothly and yes, it really does work!  Although I didn’t do a comparison (I won’t use chemical sunscreens) it did appear to protect against sunburn and left the skin quite hydrated.

Although we only use it occasionally as needed, it is safe to use everyday, as it contains no harmful ingredients.  With an SPF of 30, it’s about right for most applications.  I’d still avoid long sun exposure when possible, though we all need some for vitamin D.  But this will be within easy reach for those times we need it.
