Our family uses flashlights. We keep them for emergencies like electrical outages and storms (we live in the lightning capital of the USA and enjoy hurricane season, too) but also use them daily for checking on livestock and plenty of nightly excursions. The cheap ones just don’t last for us and the pricey ones sometimes don’t live up to their description. I was happy to try this 3 mode LED Flashlight with Magnetized Base in hopes it would meet our expectations.
Fresh out of the box, this flashlight is impressive. It is quite well made and looks like it will last a long time. I like the magnetized base; it holds up very well to keep it in place. The main light is quite bright and shines a fair distance, allowing for good visibility at night. The LED’s on the side of the base are even brighter for close up usage. As an extra security light, it has a very bright red flashing light to alert for help or show location.
The size is perfect for use in your car or boat, but is also a good size to keep nearby for those storm emergencies. I’ll want to use our larger flashlights for checking on livestock during major storms, but for everyday use and for many of our family’s needs, this flashlight is perfect!
We’ve used this light quite a few times now and it is still working as if new. It is also quite durable, lasting through a few “oops” drops. I highly recommend it and also recommend it as a great gift idea!
