The Sensei hori hori garden digging knife is quite the tool if you do any gardening at all. It is 7.5″ long and very sharp, which allows digging for bulbs, small trees, and other plants. The measurements ensure that you know how deep your hole is, an essential point for most of our planting as it’s essential to get bulbs at just the right depth to ensure they grow.
In addition to planting, this knife excels at digging up weeds or plants you want to replant elsewhere. For us, the soda apple and stinging nettle plants grow everywhere on our farm and the best way to control these annoying (and painful if you step on them!) plants is to dig them up by the roots. While the post hole digger will do that, it is much easier with this knife.
This knife is one of best tools I have found, especially for digging weeds and planting all kinds of plants. A must have for anyone with a yard!
