Yitshar Fractionated Coconut Oil Review

I love coconut oil for so many things.  We cook with it, we use it for oil pulling, we use it as a carrier oil for essential oils.  But while our cooking oil is great for cooking, fractionated actually is a better choice for a carYitshar Fractionated Coconut oilrier oil, so I was happy to be able to try the  Yitshar Fractionated Coconut Oil.

Fractionated oil is the form used in soaps and cosmetics.  It’s the refined form, which has much of the impurities removed, yielding an oil that is much less apt to become rancid.  It also stays liquid at room temperature (our unrefined oil is solid at room temperature) and is much higher in saturated fat. Originally white, the fractionated is clear or slightly yellow.

Fractionated coconut oil is a better product for using with our essential oils because it does stay liquid at a much lower temperature.  It mixes very well with the essential oils, too.

The Yitshar Fractionated Coconut Oil is a very high quality oil.  I mixed with a few drops of rosehip oil and smoothed on my dry skin.  It goes on smoothly and does not feel greasy at all.  It was quickly absorbed, as it should be.

Overall, this is a  a very impressive oil!  I’ll continue using it with my essential oils as a carrier oil for people and my dogs.
