FD Premium Dog Travel Bowls Review

We have dogs, several of various sizes.  When we travel with them, it’s nice to have an easy to use bowl so I was glad to try the FD Premium Dog Travel Bowls.

dog travel bowlsThese bowls are small, too small to be practical for our larger dogs and my son’s basset hounds cannot easily use them, but for our small and medium dogs, they are very nice.  They collapse so are easy to pack in our dog tack box.  But they hold a decent amount of food or water, about 16 ounces (2 cups) and are nice and deep.

In use, they are pretty sturdy and hold up well to continued use.  They are easy to collapse, then restore to full size when needed again.  They are not made to carry any leftover food or water and do not come with a lid.  A lid would be nice, but we just carry a bottle for water and a container for the food.

Although my dogs don’t seem to care about the looks, as long as their favorite food is there, these bowls are very colorful and bright.  I like that, even if the dogs don’t care.

I recommend these bowls for travel, whether days at a time, or just to training class.  They are easy to pack and clean up quickly and easily.  The silicone used is food grade, so safe for dogs, too.
