Like most homeowners, I have gone through many pruning shears over the years. Some never worked well from the start, others fell apart through normal use, and very few stand out as long lived favorites. Which category would the Ezy Pruners Ratchet Pruning Shears fall into?
My first impression of these shears was quite favorable. They seemed quite well made. I like ratcheting style pruners as they help compensate for my lack of hand strength. The blade is very sharp and easily cut through branches nearing an inch in diameter.
After a true workout with the Ezy Pruners, they seem just as sharp as when they were new. Just as important, my hand is not hurting as it has from other brands of pruning shears. The ratcheting action seems to have given enough power that I am able to use them quite easily.
These shears easily worked their way into my “must keep” favorites! They will remain in my personal gardening tools for continued use in our yard, garden, and around the farm. I highly recommend these pruners for everyday use.
