Reach it Grab it – reacher grabber pick stick REVIEW

I’m average height but  it seems that many times I wish I were a little taller so I could grab items just out of my reach.  There are times that the taller members of our family need a little extra reach, too.  Years ago, my Mom had a nifty little grab-it tool that helped her reach such items, but it was a little flimsy, so often missed it’s mark.   The Reach it Grab it  pick stick is that tools new improved version!

I was impressed with it from the first inspection.  It has a very sturdy handle that is securely attached to a head that actually swivels a full 90 degrees.  The head is made of a light weight aluminum, unlike the plastic that my Mom’s had.  Aluminum won’t rust and should hold up for most jobs.

I often put items that I don’t need right at the moment up out of the way.  But that creates a minor issue when I need them again.  The Reach it Grab it stick helps me retrieve those items without needing a step stool or chair.  I like that it’s very sturdy–my kids have even used it to pick up a 32 ounce spray bottle and spray one another (yes, I’ll post a video of that on my YouTube soon!) and it is quite adept at grabbing a wide range of items such as plastic cups, towels, storage bowls and yes, that water filled spray bottle.  It’s very easy to use and seems to hold up to most tasks.

The Reach it Grab it has become a new found tool in our home!  It will be added to the “gifts I plan to give” list I’m working on too!
